Dear Mum, 

seeing you sleeping on the couch waiting for me is an insult to me 
an insult cause you deserve to be on your bed in your air con room 
not some rough couch in the stuffy living room waiting for me to open the door 
your care is suffocating me to the point where seeing the similar love is suffocating me too 
i cant stand the sight of grandparents with their grandkids or parents with their young child 
cause it keeps reminding me of you.

sometimes i wonder if im happy 

isnt that the biggest task in life; that happiness that lasts years, destination and age.

makes me wonder what makes people have that spark of inspiration 
to take a pen to pen stories or lyrics

have you ever wondered to try to be detached

there are times when surrendering and retreating 
is the best option 
cause the longer you fight in your condition 
the worse you become 

will you wake up and look at the mirror

empty only to be filled with words
